Welcome to the final part of this White Hart Indian wedding. Really, this is more about the wedding photography that took place at the White Hart and their reception there.
I am a wedding photographer based in Greater Manchester and Covering all of the North West. My approach to wedding photography is to mix documentary and portraiture, and it was due to this mix that Purvi and Phil booked me.
The White Hart Inn
The White Hart Inn is a lovely old building with superb modern features. It is located in Lydgate, West Yorkshire and is the perfect place for your wedding. There is plenty of space for large receptions, but smaller ceremonies can be held here, too.

I arrived at the White Hart before Purvi and Phil and made sure to get some detail photographs.
White Hart Inn Couple Portraits
We had arranged to be at the White Hart before the reception guests arrived so that we could spend some time creating some creative portraits. This is a part of the day I really enjoy. It’s fun being a fly on the wall capturing documentary shots, but spending time with the couple and working together to make them beautiful photos allows my creative juices to flow.

Evening Reception
The evening guests soon arrived, and there was lots of fun and laughter, which I really enjoyed photographing. There are several rooms at the White Hart, so people spread out and have fun. They even served pizza to the guests to keep us all going.
Cutting the Cake and Speeches
Soon, it was time for the cutting of the cake and the speeches. This was very laid back; the cake was ready on the dancefloor, so once their guests had gathered around, they cut the cake together and gave a short speech of thanks.
First Dance and Partying
The cake was cleared away for cutting while the couple took to the dance floor for their first dance. They were soon joined by their friends and family, who all had an amazing time.
I’d already set up my lighting ready, so I got into the dancing and had a blast photographing it all.
