About
I’m a UK wedding photographer based in Manchester who covers most of North West England and parts of North Wales, too.
I love weddings. No two are the same, and there are always new experiences to be had, which keeps the day fun.
I love the build-up to the day, meeting a new couple and sharing their dreams and expectations for that special day. There’s nothing better than to see how their plans for the day develop and have those ideas turn into reality.
Then there are all the incredible moments that happen throughout the entire day that I am there to capture – from the bride, groom and bridal party getting ready in the morning to the groom anxiously awaiting his wife-to-be, the ceremony and the fun and celebrations that follow.
During these events, there are the quieter, smaller yet sweet details that are forever cherished – the groom’s mother arranging their corsage, the moment when the couple see each other for the first time, and all the reactions and smiles that ensue throughout the day.
All these moments, no matter how seemingly big or small they are, are captured by me for you to look back on forever.
Regardless of the wedding style, size, venue or unpredictable British weather, I am comfortable in any setting and can get the very best of your big day.
My wedding photography style offers both candid and posed shots to get a pleasing mix that will give your album the right balance and to tell your story in a way that best represents you as a couple.
About Me
For as long as I can remember, I have enjoyed taking pictures. My dad was a keen amateur photographer, and he passed on this passion to me. He even bought me my first SLR camera, a Minolta 7000x
After teaching martial arts for a few years, I decided to have a career change and went to the University of Huddersfield to pursue a degree in photography, in which I achieved a First Class Honours in 2016.
Most of my focus was around portraiture, and my FMP was a series of portraits of people from the LGBTQIA+ communities.
I then continued my studies, gaining an MA in Digital Media in 2017. This time around I produced a documentary following a kickboxer on her way to a Commonwealth title fight. I also wrote my thesis on Gender Performance Through Martial Arts Practice.
I photographed my first wedding in 2012 and shot several more while at university. Weddings are a brilliant way for me to explore different genres of photography and allow me to have fun as a photographer.
To be the best possible photographer for you that I can be, ongoing training is essential. Therefore, I have a BIPP Fellowship and am a member of Flash Masters and Fearless Photographers.
I photograph all types of weddings and welcome enquiries for same-gender, non-binary folks, or however else you choose to identify.
I’d love to hear from you if you’re seeking a passionate and experienced wedding photographer. Don’t hesitate to contact me to learn more.
