The Castlefield Rooms

Industrial Charm & City Vibes: Say “I Do” at Castlefield Rooms

Manchester’s historic Castlefield district is home to something extraordinary: Castlefield Rooms. This former Victorian warehouse offers a unique blend of industrial chic and urban vibes, making it the perfect backdrop for your wedding. Forget stuffy ballrooms – expect exposed brick, soaring ceilings, and a stunning glass roof letting in natural light.

Your Space, Your Style:

Castlefield Rooms isn’t a one-size-fits-all venue. It’s a blank canvas for your creativity. Think cascading greenery, minimalist décor, or dramatic lighting – whatever reflects your unique style. Whether you picture a whimsical garden party or a sleek celebration, they’ll help you bring it to life.

Food Worth Celebrating:

Forget bland wedding fare. Castlefield Rooms boasts award-winning caterers who create bespoke menus tailored to your tastes. Locally-sourced ingredients, international inspiration, and delicious execution mean your guests will be raving long after the party’s over.

More Than Just “I Do”:

Your wedding is more than just the ceremony. At Castlefield Rooms, pre-wedding drinks can be enjoyed in the intimate Library Bar, while the picturesque courtyard offers stunning photo opportunities. Relax and soak in the vibrant atmosphere of the canal basin as your celebration unfolds.

Memories in the Making:

As a wedding photographer, I love venues with personality. Castlefield Rooms’ unique elements and flexible spaces provide a perfect backdrop for capturing the raw emotions and genuine joy of your special day. It’s where history whispers and romance unfolds, frame-worthy moments waiting to be captured.

Ready to ditch the ordinary and say “I do” in an unforgettable setting?

This version keeps the key information while being more concise and direct, avoiding overly flowery language. It also focuses on the venue’s unique selling points and emphasizes the photographer’s perspective.

Jo and Dan

Jo and Dan booked me for a full day of wedding photography. We started at Jo’s house, where she was getting ready with her kids and bridesmaids. It was all fairly relaxed getting ready, and I got the usual bridal preparation shots.

Castlefield Rooms Wedding Ceremony

We were running a bit late, so I had to head into town. for the ceremony. I was fortunate to be able to park right outside. I’d just been able to get set up and a couple of shots of the groom and guests when Jo arrived. The ceremony soon started with Jo being walked down the aisle by her father. It was a beautiful ceremony enjoyed by all.

Confetti and Group Shots

After the wedding ceremony, we headed outside the Castlefield Rooms to throw some confetti, do the group shots and enjoy the glorious autumn weather.

Couple Portraits

I like to break the couple’s portraits up into two or three shorter sessions. This gives us some variety in the shots we can get and doesn’t take the bride and groom away from their guests for too long.

Wedding Reception at the Castlefield Rooms

I took Jo and Dan back to the venue so that they could spend some time with their friends and family before the wedding breakfast and speeches.

Castlefield Rooms Wedding Speeches

They soon went into the speeches which I captured in my usual way—a mixture of the speaker and the reaction of their guests.

Evening Couple Portraits

By the time the meal had been enjoyed, the light had changed quite a bit, so I grabbed the new husband and wife and a speedlight and took them out for more photos.

Cake Cutting and First Dance

All that was lect of the day was the cake cutting leading straight into their first dance. Oh, and partying. Lots of partying.

Jo and Dan had a great time cutting their beautiful cake with all their friends and family gathered around them, and then they took to the floor and did a great dance. They were soon joined, and the party took off.

I do hope you have enjoyed this Castlefield Rooms Autumn Wedding, and I would love to hear from you.
