Manchester Marriott is a hotel in the heart of Manchester, but it seems to have found a position of calm in a bustling city. It has excellent facilities, friendly staff and great food. This was the first time I ever had mini beefburgers as canapes, too.
I was privileged to photograph the wedding of Laura and Steve at the Victoria and Marriott Victoria & Albert Hotel in Manchester. It was my first wedding there, but I have had the opportunity to do more since.
Family and friends who were present at the Marriott witnessed Laura and Steve exchanging vows in a touching ceremony.
We did the group shots, then Laura out in front of the Mariott first. Then Laura, Steve and I took a quick walk together to get some shots with the fantastic Manchester skyline. Then we headed in for the wedding breakfast and speeches. The speeches are an excellent time for shots of sentimental and happy guests.

Later, after their meal, there was a fantastic close-up magician, Zanda Magic, who worked with the guests and amazed us all. He was brilliant, and I highly recommend him.
Laura and Steve really know how to create a fantastic wedding, and I won’t forget this one for a long time.
