The last time I was at Peckforton Castle I had to work around the rain. That wasn’t a problem for photographing Chelsey and Jonathan’s wedding.
The weather this time was glorious sunshine with spring truly in the air. Peckforton Castle is a stunning wedding venue and the perfect choice for the bride and groom.
Peckforton Castle
Peckforton Castle is a large wedding venue in Peckforton, Cheshire, North West England. There are rooms for you and your guests as well as large grounds, woodlands and a rather nice restaurant. There are also a couple of bars to keep yourself lubricated in.
Chelsey and Jonathan
Chelsey contacted me on Instagram last year to enquire about my ceremony package. It was nice to get a message through Intsa. I’m not that active on there so the novelty was pleasant.
They are a lovely couple with a couple of kids but I didn’t get to meet them until the wedding day.
We chatted back and forward and made our plans and booked it all in via email and Studio Ninja.
Peckforton Castle Wedding
On the day, I took my son with me for some experience and we headed over to Peckforton. Aeron (my son) gave me a hand getting all my gear up to the castle and then we set to work getting shots of their guests and the groom and his best man.
Wedding Ceremony at Peckforton Castle
The ceremony was beautiful and fun and it was nice for everyone to see Chelsey looking beautiful in her wedding dress.
I was shooting near the bride and groom with my son shooting from the balcony.
After the ceremony, we photographed the guests and got some group shots for them too.
Couple Portraits at Peckforton Castle
Of course, I always like to get some couple portrait photographs so we took a bit of time to explore and create some beautiful images.
Aeron and I continued until the wedding breakfast then our day was done. It was nice to get back to Peckforton Castle to photograph another wedding.
