Hello. A little about myself before I talk about photographing this High Peak wedding.
I’m a wedding photographer who lives in Stalybridge, so not far from the High Peak in Derbyshire. My style and approach to weddings are very low-stress.
I like to work with the couple to get them the photographs they want. I combine documentary work with as much portraiture as the couple wants.
Verity and Jake
Originally, this wedding was meant to be for another couple but then covid and a baby happened so instead they gifted my services to Verity and Jake hear.
So Richard and Holly passed me on to Verity and Jake and we adjusted the job accordingly. I had a good chat with Verity about their requirements and all was put in place for me to photograph their wedding in New Mills.
Photographing the Wedding Day
On the day, Jake was getting ready very nearby the town hall so my son and I parked and walked up to the prep address. We got a few shots of them getting ready then walked with them back to the Town Hall for the ceremony.
High Peak Wedding Ceremony
Their wedding was really good fun, and I got to meet Richard and Holly after all and their new baby.
It was such a lovely day and a good bit of experience for my son photographing weddings.
