Heskin Hall
Heskin Hall is a 16th-century wedding venue in Heskin, Lancashire, England. It has plenty of space for all the guests, a beautiful ceremony room for weddings, and some exquisite little features all around. The grounds are spacious and the food superb.
Jade and Stuart
Jade and Stuart were married on the 30th of June, a beautiful though blisteringly hot and sunny day. I was looking forward to this one after speaking with the couple in advance, they are a lot of fun.
The ceremony and reception were held at Heskin Hall, but Jade and her team got ready at a lovely little place about ten minutes away called Parr Hall Farm. It was a great place but a bit like a rabbit warren with stairs going up and down all over the place. I got all the prep shots done and followed the first car of bridesmaids to Heskin Hall. I think I amused the bridesmaids by rocking out to Genesis’ I Can’t Dance, which is part of my wedding playlist. Yes, I have a playlist for driving around on weddings, and yes it’s mostly cheese.

The ceremony went well even with the bride and her father having to battle their way through the decorative trees to get to the alter… After that, the congratulations and group shots went by in a blur and fun was had by all. There was a lot of hiding in the shade to try and keep cool but no-one lost it in the heat.
The speeches went well and unsurprisingly, Jade made a speech rather than Stuart. Jade has a big personality and it kept shining all day. Here is my selection of the photos from the day.
